Web 3.0 is a buzzword for what is also being called the semantic web. Semantic web means that you will be able to perform complex searches such as "I want to go see a movie nearby around 8 and then after the movie I want to go to an Italian restaurant" and have the search engine understand exactly what you looking for and return relevant results on movies near you showing around 8 and also any Italian restaurants in the area. Of course this technology has massive potential when coupled with portable devices (such as smart phones) and voice recognition.
References :
Students are devoloping a broader network of relations, thanks to the internet, they are involved in a very complex relationship, and deal with much more logics than our generation use to do before the internet. So yes, they are downsides, but the bright side are overwhelming the bad ones, this for sure! As for the future of the Internet, we are now in the Web 2.0 erra, which mean that people are organizing the web and not the companies, they also organizing the information, choosing what they want to talk or hear about, so the next step will be the integration of the internet at every moment in people life, and capable to give access to almost everything virtually at least. So in other world you have seen what they internet can do when at home, now you will see what he will do when it can travel with you 24hours a day 365 days a year!!
References :
It entirely depends upon the government or the internet service provider to block and put a ban on such sites in order to have a clean and health environment; because internet has become a need in today's world, just like the way we need oxygen, we need internet because being living in a global village, we need to have it in order to keep ourselves educated, updated and be able to fulfill the requirements of the present and future era.

Therefore, higher level authorities should take care of this !
References :
Nothing and/or anything.

Even web 2.0 doesn't really mean anything and is mostly just marketing speak but there is at least somewhat of a consensus on its definition (a website that's community driven or in some way interactive).

There is no consensus on web 3.0's definition though. There is just a lot of people trying to label a lot of different things as it and an assumption that since the term web 2.0 is popular there must be a web 3.0 sooner or later. Its whatever the next internet trend or innovation may be.
References :
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_2.0#Web_3.0

I think I tried to answer this question some time ago...
I think that musicians should come up with some idea here because what happens now is frustrating...great music is lost in tons of shit. It's becoming more difficult to find pearls, find really nice music tunes in this constant flood of mediocrities...
Musicians as other artists deserve to be evaluated, listened to...their ideas should be delivered...now...we have Justin Biereewraewa... no idea how do you spell his name. Internet kills music, books, knowledge...I'm not against it, just against google, wikipedia and things like that. People should receive knowledge on how to use these resources as they are SUPPLEMENTARY and not primary...the same with music. How can you understand TOOL if you just download it, listen to it without even trying to dig what the guys are sining about...What are the odds of having bands like Led Zeppelin or Deep Purple nowadays? That's why Metallica, Megadeth, In Flames are still so popular. Noone can write better. That's the reason. Old rock legends are there because new generations cannot write such tunes anymore. That's why people are coming back to Beatles.
As a huge fan of D.I.Y. music I see Internet as a possibility to popularize it, but again, the goal won't be achieved because people will fast-food it. Eat it fast without even thinking what was that...so great tunes will be forgotten without even listened too.
"If Jesus showed up now he’d be in jail by next week." - Lemmy.
Musicians should find a way to protect themselves....Lars tried to shut down Napster but did not succeed.
Maybe there is a way for humans to become superbeings and start to be able to conceive music and knowledge faster and come up to speed with Internet...smells like Neuromancer to me... :)
I'm tired of Internet...It's not under control.Even now when I'm writing this message I feel that I'm missing smth...there are so many things there that cannot be googled.
VYNIL and CDs! I'm not a vintage fan. It's about being able to FEEL.
References :
Vinyl records are already a niche market, spearheaded by dj mixing and have been for a decade or more. Little or nothing is released on vinyl as far as mainstream albums and the majority of music sales are concerned now.

It's hard to predict the end of the CD, although physical sales of hard copy music are declining I think there will remain demand for it. Maybe the CD will be replaced by an as yet undeveloped or exploited alternative.
References :
Notice how tapes are gone now? I think the same will happen to cds in a few years.. although vinyls are still sold. It'll just be more difficult to buy them, I guess
But yeah I agree. Everything's changing and it sucks
